Apple TV Aerial Screensaver for Mac

I came across this gem the other day from a colleage, Pete, and wanted to share with everyone: https://github.com/JohnCoates/Aerial

As mentioned by John Coates, “Aerial is a Mac screen saver based on the new Apple TV screen saver that displays the aerial movies Apple shot over New York, San Francisco, Hawaii, China, etc.” To me the best part is that you can either have the screensaver stream the latest aerials or you can download them locally so they work offline. If you stream, the aerials are loaded directly from Apple meaning you are never out of date!

Best Mac RDP Application – CoRD

A small portion of my day is spent deploying software, beta testing software or troubleshooting software on Windows servers so when I am at home on my iMac I had to find a great replacement to Windows built in RDP software. After a few days searching and testing software I came across CoRD. CoRD is a free and open-source app for Mac and is very easy to use. CoRD allows me to view each session in either its own windows or all of my sessions within one Windows. Taking the true inspiration of Apple, CoRD is not only simple to use but it is also appealing to look at.

By far my favorite part about CoRD is the ability to “Command + any number” to automatically authenticate into a Windows Server that I previously set up. If you are looking for the best RDP app for Mac, you must check out CoRD.
